David DeMuthDavid DeMuth and his wife, Anne, have been Ruxton residents for over 15 years David is a Principal at Cornerstone Financial LLP having entered into insurance and investments in 1984 following his graduation from UVA. He has served on the Gilman School board and is past president of its Alumni Association. He is a past president of the Star Spangled Banner Flag House and Museum and is currently active on various committees. David is also passionate about raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis.

David has 3 adult children who reside in CO and NY. He and his wife are members of The Elkridge Club. David is an active proponent of the beautification of his own properties and extends the same courtesy and pride into his beloved neighborhood through service on the GRAF board.

Ben CroninBen Cronin has lived in Ruxton on and off since 1979. He and his wife, Ty, recently bought his childhood home back!

Ben and his wife have 3 children and two cockapoos.

The Cronins are members of L’Hirondelle Club. Some of Ben’s passions and favorite hobbies are landscaping and gardening. He loves that GRAF has been instrumental in greening the Ruxton community and improving areas that many of us pass every day. Ben has joined the board in hopes to generate additional community involvement in years to come.

Deirdre WeadockDeirdre was raised in Ruxton in the ’80s and ’90s and returned in 2015 to raise her son, Thomas. Her father, Tom Weadock, was involved with GRAF during its founding years. Tom was also raised in Ruxton having lived on Circle Rd and Carrollton Ave growing up. Tom and his wife Ann have retired to Florida but return often to visit.

Deirdre is an Employee Benefit Advisor with PSA Insurance & Financial Solutions — a career shift from a decade of training dolphins at The National Aquarium and The Dolphin Connection, followed by 6 years of managing operations for Charm City Run. She also serves on the board of The Roland Run Club, where she and her son are members. Deirdre joined the GRAF board to help with neighborhood clean-ups, and also because she believes deeply that great communities are created and sustained by the people who love them.

Ward ClassenWard Classen and his wife, Sibley, have resided in Ruxton for over 60 years. Sibley has previously served on the Greater Ruxton Area Foundation Board as the Treasurer. They have raised 2 children here who have moved on to NY and GA. Ward is an attorney focused on technology licensing for Honeywell International. Ward appreciates how all of the work that GRAF supports can be appreciated by anyone in the neighborhood as well as those passing through.
